Go to Walmart, National Wholesale Liquidators, Lowe's, The Home Depot, Big Lots or Odd Lots and buy six red five gallon gas cans. Try to get the largest size possible.	Bring $200 in cash with you to the gas station along with the six gas cans.	Try to use cash only and not a debit card as a debit card may put a $100 block on your card if you try to use it at a gas station. I learned that from USA Weekend July 2008.	You have to read your cardholder's agreement to see if a block will be put on your debit card or not.	Pay cash for the gas inside and then line up the six gas cans on the ground right beneath the pump.	Pump the gas into the gas cans to fill them up one by one.	Finish pumping the gas and then put the gas into the truck and then drive the gas cans to where you dock your boat and put all six cans down in the hull of your boat.	This would assume that your boat has already been placed in the water for boating season.	Store the gas cans in the hull of your boat where they will stay cool and not explode.

Now that gas is cheap again to kind of offset high home heating oil prices you may want to purchase some gasoline and save it for later here's how.

Things You'll Need

Six five gallon gas cans About $200 A boat with a hull A computer with internet access A truck to haul the gasoline in

Step One

Go to Gasbuddy.com and find the nearest gas station with the lowest prices.

Step Two

Go to Walmart, National Wholesale Liquidators, Lowe's, The Home Depot, Big Lots or Odd Lots and buy six red five gallon gas cans. Try to get the largest size possible.
